NYT RACING · PUBLIC BETA · 0.9.0.142
Pit Engineer for SimHub and iRacing
Fuel, estimated laps, pit stops, and expected traffic when leaving the pits, all in one race window. Use it on your PC or check the web view from another screen or tablet on your local network.
This is an evolving beta. Predictions depend on the information available, so some may be partial. Your reports will help us keep improving it.
Launch offer: double the time
Choose a 3-, 6-, or 12-month plan and get 6, 12, or 24 months on your first billing period. All three plans include the same Pit Engineer.
3-Month Plan
6 months for €6
Offer applies to the first billing period. After that, automatic renewal at €6 every 3 months.
6-Month Plan
12 months for €11
Offer applies to the first billing period. After that, automatic renewal at €11 every 6 months.
12-Month Plan
24 months for €20
Offer applies to the first billing period. After that, automatic renewal at €20 every 12 months.
Only the first billing period of a new subscription is doubled. After that, the standard 3-, 6-, or 12-month periods and listed prices apply. These are not monthly fees. The offer does not apply to renewals or free invitations, and it does not modify existing subscriptions.
You can turn off future renewals from My Account before the next charge. You will keep access until the end of the period already paid for. The expiration date appears on your subscription.
Download and install
If you already have an active membership, go to My Account → Downloads to get the current installer. You don’t need to purchase another plan.
1. You will need Windows, SimHub, iRacing, and .NET Framework 4.8. Tested with SimHub 9.13.2. Plugin languages: Spanish, English, French, German, and Italian.
2. Download the ZIP, close SimHub completely, and extract all its contents. Run Installer-PitEngineer.exe, choose your language, and confirm the SimHub folder.
3. Open SimHub and enable Pit Engineer under Additional Plugins if needed. From My Account → Pit Engineer: connect a PC, generate your private code. Enter it in the NYT Racing account section of the plugin and click Save and Verify.
4. Check “How Pit Engineer Works” to set up iRacing and follow the calibration steps. For another screen or tablet, launch the web view and follow the plugin’s instructions. SimHub must remain open.
Only one PC can be linked at a time, with transfer available from My Account. An internet connection is required when starting each session; a race already authorized will not be interrupted by a disconnection. Do not share your private code.
How to report a bug
Bugs should be reported through the NYT Racing Discord, Pit Engineer channel. The link requires you to be a member of the server.
1. Open “Report a Problem” and start recording before the issue occurs.
2. Reproduce the issue and click “Stop and Save Report” before closing SimHub. This section shows the path where the file was saved.
3. Share that file on Discord along with a description of the bug, the car, the track, and the approximate time. The plugin does not send the report automatically.
What’s included in the membership
The integration currently available is Pit Engineer for SimHub and iRacing. NYT Racing’s other dashboards are not yet integrated into this membership. It does not include physical accessories or add renewals to previous purchases.
